“My 1 week old newborn and I were having a really difficult time nursing. She would not be able to take in what she needed in an efficient amount of time, leaving her constantly unsatisfied after each nursing session, and me a paranoid mess. Maria came to us and worked on my baby’s tension for an hour and a half, gave us tips in the right bottle and pacifier to use and gave me tips to achieve and maintain a better latch. Ever since, nursing has quickly and steadily improved. Now at 3 weeks old, she gets what she needs at each 20-30 min session and we barely use bottles or formula now!”

I never anticipated feeding would be our number one postpartum challenge, and I'm not sure where we'd be without Maria's help working through it. She comes to our home for visits to work with our son and us on body mechanics that have loosened his tension and strengthened his latch. She's coached me on breastfeeding techniques and demystified all things bottle and pacifier to find a fit and flow to make things easier.

She's worked with us through feeding positions and options to combat GERD, and she'll be with us through the transition to solids and the continuing first-year milestones. She's also given us so many tips for stretches and tummy time that I would have been clueless about otherwise. Because she visits our home, she shows us how to use the baby items we already own and our set up to work with our son on stretches and tummy time.
